Hi! I’m Christina, and welcome to my yoga YouTube channel, ChriskaYoga! This is a 45 Min Restorative Yoga Class that will help you to destress, feel more relaxed and calm yourself down. You will need a yoga blanket (sub w/ a thick towel), yoga strap (sub w/ a scarf or belt), and a thinner and smaller towel or blanket. Download this class:

We will begin the sequence in easy pose (sukhasana) for a brief meditation. Then we’ll take a twist on both sides, arm and shoulder stretches, and a forward fold. Next we’ll come into a child’s pose (balasana) and take a twist there on both sides.

Then we will come to laying on our backs and hug the knees in (apanasana). After this, we will take a supine twist with the knees bent before coming into supine pigeon pose (thread the needle) and twist in this pose on both sides as well. Next, using our strap, we will stretch one leg up at a time (supta padangustasana) before taking a happy baby pose (dead bug pose).

After this, we will take a few longer meditations. One in supine bound angle pose (supta baddha konasana) and the next in constructive rest before twisting there on both sides. Then we will take a supported fish pose (salamba mastyasana) and then bring ourselves to the wall for legs up the wall pose (viparita kirani). The final pose will be savasana, but laying on the front side of your body supported by the blankets.
