Annie Thorisdottir (Anníe Mist Þórisdóttir) is an Icelandic professional CrossFit athlete. As a two-time winner on the women’s side of the CrossFit Games, Thorisdottir has been considered one of the fittest all-time women in the world. She is the only female to win the Games more than one time (2011 and 2012). Due to her physical strength and surname, Thorisdottir is sometimes known by her nickname, Thor’s Daughter. She is currently studying chemistry and biology and is pursuing a medical career.

Thorisdottir began taking part in the CrossFit Games in 2010, when she placed second in the world. The following year, she won her first title, and was labeled the “fittest woman on Earth.” Thorisdottir continued at the 2012 CrossFit Games, when she won her second consecutive world championship. Thorisdottir claimed the title as one of the fittest women of all-time. In 2013, she suffered a back injury that kept her out of the 2013 Games but took part in the 2013 Dubai Fitness Competition. She took  away more than Dh650,000 in prize money. Thorisdottir also defeated starting NFL running back, Justin Forsett, in a push-up contest, defeating her adversary 88-81.
