Robert Wilmote (@ndo_champ) aka NDO Champ. NDO Champ was born in Liberia during the civil war that erupted in the late ’90s where thousands of people lost their lives. NDO Champ and his family were fortunate enough to make it to America unharmed. He then had to fend for himself as a young man and had to fight for his place growing up on the harsh streets of Brooklyn. He now resides in Newark New Jersey.
My love for fitness grew while I was in prison. Fitness became my anchor. It kept me going, and when I got released it saved me from going back to my previous lifestyle.
Due to my circumstances I was financially limited and It was an extremely difficult time in my life and I wanted to do all that I could to support my children. I had to fight temptations and surround myself with positive people to stay focus.
I went from cleaning the gym to teaching fitness classes in less than a year. I have been blessed to connect with people who believe in me and motivate me.
