Description

Swing Yoga Somersault Core Flow #omnigymchallenge

This is your first challenge, a Swing Yoga flow in the int-adv range.

Tips: The swing should hang more or less at the height of the foot stirrups and you should have enough room under your head to do the somersault without hitting the floor.

Somersault Crunch: Keep your elbows in at your sides as your tuck you head, and perform the crunch. Use your core to maintain stability. You can perform this crunch as many times as you´d like to feel the burn in your abs.

Suspended Wide Squat/Horse Stance: When you climb up the swing, you need to grab above your ankles, use your arm strength to pull up, push your legs through and open, and keep pulling yourself up (as if you were climbing a rope) until you find yourself in a comfortable suspended wide squat (horse stance).

Dismount: *You need to have really open shoulders for this one. If not, come out the way you got in, by slowly lowering yourself to the floor.* To complete this challenge, grab the upper handles, rotate your arms back so they are completely outstretched behind you, hook your feet into the swing, come into a contraction pulling your hips up toward the sky and dropping your head, and flip out letting your legs land gracefully back on the floor.
