HIIT stands for High Intensity Interval Training and is a very effective way to loose fat and keep your muscular tone. There are many variations of this workout (60 sec work 20 rest, 30/30, 60/30 etc…). This is made by 12 rounds repeated 3 times (with 1 to 5 min rest between) ; each of them is composed by 60 seconds work and 20 seconds rest for a total of about 50 minutes.
The common line is that you train you whole body and you can do with many, a lot, of different exercises (you fantasy is the only limit).
You can do them with friends using a video like these one as a timer.
It has been scientifically proven HIIT is better than simple SST (stady state training) in almost any situation. Give it a try!
