Planning in Advance
The stunner lived on the island for nearly 50 days and had no access to any beauty or health products. As she knew she was going to do the show, she planned in advance and dosed up on heaps of vital vitamins. She focused more on vitamins B and C to boost her immunity and get an edge.
Having a Healthy Mindset
For her, a crucial part of staying fit is to have a good mindset and not obsessing about food or exercise.
Workout Secrets
The workout secrets of the beauty involve exercising with F45 for at least 4 times a week in which her trainer helps her out to support her form and ensure that she is doing the right thing. She also understands that rest is very important and hence goes for a walk when she feels that her body needs some rest.
Other Workout Preferences
Monica also likes variation in her workouts. She likes hitting the gym more often because she is not good at motivating herself to exercise at home. She likes to try different exercise methods that include but are not limited to x-Train HIIT classes, yoga, weight training classes, reformer Pilates and cardio dance classes.
Finding the Balance
The TV star thinks that it’s vital to find balance when it comes to fitness. She balances it by doing some yoga after she has had a HIIT session because HIIT often stresses the body while yoga calms her down. She has seen great results by combining high-intensity training with gentle forms of movement which is in contrast with the popular philosophy of pushing yourself to the limit every day at the gym (preached by many celebrities).
Apart from the exercises mentioned above, a useful exercise she prefers is power walking. She goes for 10 km walks a few times a week and listens to an audiobook or preferred podcasts to keep her mind engaged.
Diet Plan
The diet plan of the lovely lady comprises having a minimal amount of carbs, loads of fresh vegetables and healthy fats in a day.
Breakfast
Her days usually start with two scrambled eggs that are cooked with sautéed spinach, avocado, sea salt, and coconut oil. She often adds an almond cappuccino with some stevia to the breakfast menu to get some caffeine boost.
Lunch
It includes having a salad with salmon or grilled chicken. The dressing added to it is usually plain olive oil.
Dinner
At night, she likes to have bone broth with some chicken thighs and fresh vegetables.
Indulgence
The diet indulgence of the celebrity includes snacking on berries, dark chocolate, nuts or chocolate brownies made with zucchini. The dark chocolate she likes to have has 90 percent cacao, and the brownies are totally sugar-free.
Hydration
She likes to drink a lot of water throughout the day and starts her days with warm water with salt and lemon.
Smoothie Preference
When in a mood to have a smoothie, she opts for a green one. It is made with combining almond milk and Organify green powder.
