This empowering series will help you achieve a stronger handstand using three techniques: tuck, straddle, and pike. You’ll build strength, grace, and control as you move through the series step by step. Destination Handstand contains a short lecture on handstand technique, a strength conditioning class, a full-body warm-up, a wall handstand class, a freestanding handstand class, and two dynamic handstand flows. It’s not about perfection — it’s about conquering your fears and getting upside down with confidence.

ABOUT MELINI

Strongly rooted in ashtanga, Melini Jesudason’s style is a dynamic combination of intelligent sequencing, alignment-focused asana, and playful inversions. She was introduced to yoga at a young age as her mother was an avid ashtangi and her aunt a renowned teacher in Australia, however it wasn’t until years later that Melini began taking classes consistently and fell in love with the practice.

Born in Tokyo and raised in New York, Sydney, and Singapore, she initially returned to the US for college and to kickoff her career in investment banking before she found her true passion in yoga. Her dedication to her personal practice and to teaching is clearly evidenced by over 900 hours of training, including a 300-hour advanced yogic studies certification, hatha and ashtanga teacher trainings, and more.

Melini’s classes will challenge you to take your practice even deeper both on and, most importantly, off the mat.
