Today’s class is a bit longer, but no less of a goodie.
We move more slowly, taking the time to feel into the breath and the body. We hold in places to allow our body the luxury of stillness, to sink into the spaces we often ignore, both mentally and physically.
However, don’t think that just because we move slowly, we lack the strength building that is the basis of my classes.
In this class we will tone and tighten the obliques, through stabilizing side plank variations. These will also build strength in the arms and back. Expect low impact glute work as well.
Focus on length along the spine, precise mind to muscle connection, and slow, deliberate movements.
